RAW EATs Game | Nourish | getAmazin health
If it seems like forever since I have written something it's because it has been :( I've been sooo busy bustin my hump over the last year becoming the best "Oncology and Hematology Researcher" that I could be that I have really slacked on one of my BIGGEST passions...
Talking to you guys about the EASIEST and most realistic ways to achieve your healthiest life possible.
This is by far one of the most important endeavors I have set out to accomplish and although I haven't posted much about it on here "the wonderful world wide web", you can guarantee that my patients and those who are close to me have still gotten to partake in my slightly intense at times ramblings...
~RAW EATs Game, ohhh so STRONG~
I want to be very upfront and honest... My eating habits have been less than stellar over the last year. I had put on more pounds than I wanted and was eating foods I probably hadn't eaten in no, lie like 10 years... I was really starting to not only see those effects but feel them...mentally, physically, and all around. So just like I tell everyone else I had to slowly transition back to where I wanted to be. Cutting out fast foods, processed foods, limiting high saturated fat foods, and beginning to get back into a work out schedule that was doable while working through a physically and mentally demanding career that I am so passionate about.
Did I do the BEST I could do? Probably not, but just like what I say all the time little by little I worked to get back on track and get to the best me I could accomplish at the time.... and guess what? I know you all can reach those goals too.. Do they happen over night? HELL NO. but with determination and compassion for yourself and all you have going on and hard work making tiny tweaks along the way, you too can achieve the health and wellness you were destined to have... :)
SoOoO all that being said, I REALLY missed incorporating RAW FOODs into my daily eating habits. Well I won't say I was like Damn, I could really eat my weight in raw broccoli right now, but I will say that after eating those foods for so long I could tell things were "off" and I wasn't feeling ways that were normal to me in the past. I MISSED that.
So lately, I've been making a yummy raw salad that really hit the spot and filled my quota for the day...
The Not so Salad, Salad
1 Cucumber
2 Tomatoes
1/2 pack peeled and cut bag of baby Carrots
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
1 tsp black coarse Pepper
1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
A good amount of fresh cilantro
Cut the cucumbers and tomatoes in fourths, pulse the carrots in a food processor. Add in the spices and herbs and refrigerate. Easy Peazy and ohhh so good.
What have you guys been up to lately? What triumphs and struggles have you been going through? I hope you are yours have been GREAT. Can't wait to talk to you all in the threads.
Much love, together in Health,
Uriia
